Tri-X Technology exists because industrial work keeps getting split three ways. A design house draws it, a shop cuts it, an integrator wires it, and the schedule dies in the gaps between them. We hold all three under one roof.

What we do

Mechanical, controls and software, in the same room

Our engineers design machines and the parts inside them, our machinists cut those parts, and our controls and software people make them run. Because the drawing office sits next to the shop, a feature that is expensive to machine gets caught while it is still cheap to change.

We work for plants, OEMs and contract manufacturers, usually at the point where something has to be fixed, replaced or made to go faster.

How we work

Five steps, in this order, every time

No stage starts before the previous one is signed off. It is slower to promise and faster to finish.

  1. Understand the problem at the machine

    A call, then a site visit or a video walk-around. We want to see the failure, the product and the space around it before proposing anything.

  2. Quote against a defined scope

    A written scope with what is included, what is assumed and what is excluded, priced with a lead time. If something is uncertain, it is named as uncertain rather than buried.

  3. Design and review before cutting

    Models, drawings and schematics come to you for review. Changes at this stage cost an email; the same change after machining costs a part.

  4. Make, measure and stage

    Parts are machined and inspected, assemblies are built and dry-run in our shop so the shutdown window is used for fitting, not for finding out.

  5. Install, prove the rate, hand over

    We commission, run the machine at rate with your operators, train the maintenance team and hand over drawings, code and inspection records.

Inspection is part of the job rather than a certificate bought afterwards. Site work follows your plant's permits and isolation rules, not ours.

  • Guarding and interlocks proven before sign-off
  • Housekeeping and hand-back at the end of each shift

Working with us

Straight answers, including the unwelcome ones

If a repair is smarter than a redesign, we will say so and quote the smaller job. If a machine is at the end of its life, we would rather tell you before you spend money keeping it upright.

That habit costs us work occasionally. It is also why the same maintenance managers keep calling.

What we ask of clients

  • Access to the machine, or good photos and video
  • A named person who can approve a drawing
  • The real production constraint, including the deadline behind the deadline
  • Existing drawings, manuals and program backups, however old
